Great video folks! Just wanted to mention, like you, when fishing fast water for these gorgeous fish, we used Husky Rapala lures. Because of the huge lip on them though, they tend to dig deeper into the water while retrieving, which can have them banging into a lot of rocks and easily snagging up. What we started to do, was shave the plastic lip on the Rapalas down, to about half normal length. This was actually easier to do than I first thought because it was so hot our first day, the plastic lips were very easy to carve. This increased our hook-ups dramatically, as the lures could be more easily controlled within the mid-water zone instead of digging trenches, heh heh. We also found the Raps with silver sides, white belly and black back, the most desired of our collections. I even caught a stunning 8 lb Black Piranha on the same lure, in the same crazy water! Cheers folks and thanks again! :)

Fished Maldives in the 90's. Only place in the world where I saw a local fisherman land a biggish sailfish on a handline, and into his 10-foot canoe .... and about 5nm offshore. So much for our $150k of boat and equipment! 😂
